I made this little fairy for :iconjoannastar: :D
She likes fairies, so I decided to make her one ;)
I know... not the usual concept of a fairy, but... ;) I like it ! :D

It was aboute 5 hours total.

I just thouth, that a so small being, like the kolibri is one fully capable to be a mount for a faery :D
Anyway, it is OK, that a faery CAN fly :D
But hell... they need a "cavalry" either, no ;)

This is fantastic! Great use of contrast once again. This is a highly imaginative piece! Humingbirds...the new motorcycles of the fairy kingdom!!!!!!!

:eyepopping: This is incredible, I love all the excrutiating details like the feathers one the hummingbird's body, the faery's swirling hair and impressive anatomy, and the miniature harness for her "steed." *envisions a gigantic swarm of angry faeries on hummingbirds blocking out the sun to the tune of the flying monkey in "Wizard of Oz" or the Imperial March from "Star Wars."* They'd lift people off the ground and drop them from hundreds of feet in the air, cars exploding, and mass chaos would ensue! :mwahaha:.....um....sorry.
