Hello peepz :)

Here is the finalised version of the twi'lek jedi ^^
Actually I'm loving how the lights and shadows turned out in the end :)
I tried out a bit more realistic lighting/shading this time. I tried to make an environmentű, thats fitting to the mood.
Also, I changed her expression and face, giving an overall more mature, bit "famme fatale" feel ;)

I love to draw jedi/sith characters :3 The lightsaber offers such a nice lighting/shadow, usually it turns out a total eye-candy :D

Thank you guys for helping me with critiques at the WIPs, it helped me a lot =)
Anyways, let me know what you think ^^

EDIT: nearly forgot to add the lightsaber wound mark correctly XD

You're right about the lightsaber light being eye-candy :P Looks fantastic! I also love her expression, it's challenging but there's also amusement or something there. Lovely draping of her skirt as well :)

Hehhe indeed ^^
I always preferred non-jedi/sith since the lighsaber is getting a bit common sight nowdays ;) Besides, a cocky smuggler or a cool bounty hunter is way more interesting ;)

Thanks btw ^^ I usually try to keep the details all good and well on most parts ;) So if somebody takes their time to look around on my drawing, they might notice some smaller details ^^

cool picture
i try to give you some critics which would help maybe:
it´s a thing i see in the most of your pictures: the contrast
in my opinion the contrast is to high and you have mostly high and low tones- less middle tones.
give it a try and finish a picture without using real black or to high saturated colors and at the end you start to create points of high interest with dark and light
i heard a rule: where you want to have no attention, put your lights next to your light and your darks next to your darks and where you want to have the viewers eye, put your lights next to your darks
hope that could help
and keep on,you´re doing a great job

Hey ^^

Wow oO Thanks for the tips, these are helpful :3 I just doing things on the drawing that makes sense for me on first glance ^^; I guess that comes when you study from scratch ;P
Eh, yea I realised also that I do tend to use too big gap of contrast ^^; In my more recent drawings I tried to... soften it up a bit =) Good to know that I was spot on with the issue XD
I try to avoid too saturated colors alltogether and pure white and black is a big no-no ^^
I usually try to deepen with dark colors (like purple, brown, ect.) istead of pure black. It makes it kinda... flat out from 3D to 2D. It loses its place in 3D. Same goes for white ^^ Usually if you colour pick on my drawings now, you wont see black and pure white ^^ Only close =)
